Security Operations Manager

About the role

The Security Operations Manager leads and governs security activities across Nishan’s operational environments, ensuring the protection of people, assets, and infrastructure in line with AD Ports Group standards. This role provides 24/7 command and control, overseeing security plans, assessments, and incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and coordinate security operations across all assigned sites and clusters.
• Ensure 24/7 operational readiness, shift supervision, escalation procedures and continuity.
• Develop, review and implement Security Plans, SOPs, post orders and security assessments.
• Oversee incident response, reporting, investigation support and corrective‑action tracking.
• Support Supervisors – Security Operations in daily shift activities and site compliance.
• Implement Group Security Action Plans and monitor progress.
• Plan, execute and evaluate security drills, exercises and toolbox talks.
• Chair security operations meetings and provide performance insights.
• Lead internal and external audits, inspections and ensure timely closure of observations.
• Coordinate with IC&CC, Operational Control, Security Permits, Inspection & Enforcement and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with PSBD/NSI regulations, ISPS Code and national security requirements.
• Maintain coordination with emergency responders and relevant authorities.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing security teams and supervising officers.
• Strong knowledge of security regulations such as PSBD/NSI, ISPS Code and related national standards.
• Experience in incident management, reporting and corrective‑action processes.
• Ability to develop and enforce security plans, SOPs and post orders.
• Excellent coordination skills with internal stakeholders and external authorities.
