Security Shift Supervisor

About the role

The Security Shift Supervisor oversees security personnel to maintain a safe environment across day and night shifts. You will coordinate operational tasks, train staff, and ensure all security systems function correctly while supporting cross‑department communication.

Key responsibilities

• Work 12‑hour rotating day and night shifts.
• Organise, supervise and support CCTV operators and security guards on duty.
• Coordinate daily operational tasks and manage pedestrian patrols.
• Train security guards on performance standards, appearance and task execution.
• Operate and monitor access‑control, video‑surveillance and fire‑alarm systems.
• Prepare daily and weekly security reports.
• Handle email correspondence and respond to internal requests.
• Liaise with other departments, employees and external representatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the security industry, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong leadership and ability to enforce professional standards.
• Comfortable working in a multicultural, fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Outlook, Teams and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
• Experience using access‑control systems.
• Experience with video‑surveillance (CCTV) platforms.
• Knowledge of fire‑alarm system operation.
