Security Supervisor

About the role

The Security Supervisor leads the hotel’s security team, ensuring the safety of guests, colleagues and assets. You will coordinate daily security plans, manage rosters, and respond to incidents promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Brief senior security officers and staff on security plans, incident response and escalation procedures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date rosters, arrange shifts, weekly offs and leaves for all security personnel.
• Deliver and monitor security training according to the approved training plan.
• Investigate incidents, complete log books, and report major complaints to the Head of Security.
• Patrol duty posts, conduct fire patrols, and identify security or fire hazards.
• Manage CCTV and access‑control systems, maintain inventory and ensure proper operation.
• Coordinate emergency response, contact fire, police or medical services, and lead the loss‑prevention team.
• Handle lost‑and‑found inquiries and ensure timely return of property.

Required profile

• High school certificate or equivalent.
• SIRA Supervisor licence.
• Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality security, police or military.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of firefighting equipment and CCTV operation.
• First‑aid and CPR certification.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
