Security Systems Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Security Systems Design Engineer to join our Dubai team. The role focuses on creating comprehensive electronic security solutions that meet local SIRA regulations and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Alarm, Video Intercom, ANPR and other ELV security systems.
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings, system schematics, BOQs, technical specifications and full design documentation.
• Ensure all designs comply with SIRA requirements and relevant standards.
• Conduct site surveys and develop cost‑effective security solutions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects and project teams.
• Prepare technical submittals and support SIRA approval processes.
• Provide technical support during project execution and respond to consultant comments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in security systems design.
• Mandatory experience with SIRA‑compliant design and approval procedures.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Alarm, Video Intercom and ELV systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Good understanding of IP networking related to security systems.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
