Security Team Leader – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Security Team Leader will supervise daily security operations at a luxury hotel in Dubai, ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and assets while maintaining compliance with hotel policies and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and motivate a team of Security Officers across shifts, conducting briefings and handovers.
• Monitor entrances, public areas, back‑of‑house zones, parking and CCTV/ access‑control systems, responding to suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular patrols, identify risks, and ensure fire exits, emergency routes and safety equipment remain unobstructed.
• Investigate incidents, prepare accurate reports and coordinate with police, civil defence and other authorities.
• Manage key control, staff passes, contractor passes and maintain security equipment.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of security experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel or resort, with prior supervisory experience.
• Valid SIRA/security licence for UAE positions.
• Good written and spoken English; Arabic or other languages are a plus.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and overnight.

Required skills

• CCTV monitoring and access‑control system operation.
• Key control and incident‑reporting procedures.
• Fire and life‑safety knowledge.
• Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
