Senior Account Manager - BFSI

About the role

The Senior Account Manager – BFSI will manage strategic client relationships within the banking, financial services and insurance sector, drive business growth through upsell/cross‑sell opportunities and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. The role requires a strong understanding of BFSI client challenges, IT/digital solutions (cloud, security, outsourcing) and the ability to operate at senior stakeholder levels.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for designated BFSI accounts, building relationships with C‑level and senior stakeholders.
• Develop and execute account plans aligned with annual targets and CNS’s solution portfolio.
• Identify and drive new business opportunities (upselling, cross‑selling) within existing accounts and pursue new BFSI accounts.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification to contract closure, collaborating with pre‑sales and solution architects.
• Coordinate with delivery, service operations, finance and contract teams to ensure smooth implementation, billing and support.
• Monitor account health, report on performance, pipeline, risks and opportunities to senior sales leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of account management or sales experience in the UAE with significant exposure to BFSI clients.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders.
• Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen and proven ability to develop and deliver account plans.
• Experience with CRM systems, pipeline management, forecasting and reporting.
• Fluency in English; Arabic advantageous.
