Senior Accountant (CA/ACCA)

About the role

AWA Dubai is seeking a qualified CA or ACCA professional to join its consultancy team as a Senior Accountant. The role offers full ownership of end‑to‑end accounting operations, audit oversight, VAT compliance and multi‑client financial reporting within the UAE regulatory framework.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily accounting operations, ledger entries and core financial transaction processing.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, account reconciliations and periodic management reports.
• Manage VAT submissions, corporate tax obligations and other regulatory filings.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing cycles while ensuring general ledger accuracy.
• Serve as primary liaison for independent auditors, client representatives and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• CA or ACCA credential (mandatory).
• Proven experience in professional accounting and tax advisory, preferably within the UAE accounting framework.
• Strong background in audit oversight and multi‑client portfolio management.
• Bilingual communication fluency in English and Hindi.
