Senior Accountant – Dubai Real Estate

About the role

A leading real estate developer in Dubai is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant / Finance Manager. The role combines strategic financial oversight with hands‑on accounting duties across several related companies and development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including bookkeeping, reconciliations and month‑end close for multiple entities.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow analyses.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, inter‑company transactions and expense processing.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, corporate tax regulations and internal accounting policies.
• Prepare tax filings and maintain supporting documentation.
• Monitor financial performance, review contracts and transactions from accounting, tax and financial perspectives.
• Maintain strong internal controls, audit‑ready records and coordinate with auditors, tax consultants and banks.
• Supervise accounting staff and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including senior‑level accounting or finance management.
• Strong UAE accounting experience, especially with VAT, corporate tax and IFRS.
• Experience in real‑estate development or off‑plan property accounting is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently, take full ownership of the finance function and remain hands‑on.
