Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Ras al‑Khaimah. The role focuses on maintaining accurate books, supporting budgeting and cash‑flow processes, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts in line with UAE standards and company policies.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, rolling forecasts and monthly cash‑flow projections.
• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger functions.
• Issue client invoices based on certified works and contractual milestones.
• Monitor receivables ageing and achieve collection targets.
• Prepare monthly MIS, variance analysis and financial dashboards for management.
• Coordinate VAT returns and corporate tax documentation, ensuring statutory compliance.
• Support the annual audit process and liaise with auditors.
• Administer insurance policies and track renewals and claims.
• Supervise the Accounts Executive and ensure ERP data integrity.
• Drive process improvements and system efficiencies.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with strong fundamentals and project‑based experience.
• Background in construction or industrial manufacturing accounting.
• Professional certification (CA, Inter CA, CPA) is a strong advantage.
• Immediate availability to join.
