Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The role involves managing end‑to‑end accounting processes, preparing accurate financial statements, and ensuring compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and review financial statements, trial balance, cash flow, profit & loss and balance sheet.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, UAE VAT and other statutory regulations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow analysis.
• Prepare data for GST, TDS and VAT filings and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Handle daily accounting entries, bank reconciliations and journal postings.
• Process payroll, including statutory contributions such as PF and ESIC.
• Generate MIS reports for senior management decision‑making.

Required profile

• B.Com, M.Com, MBA in Finance/Accounting or Inter CA qualification.
• 5–7 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and accounting standards.
• Experience in the fintech or financial services sector is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Tally ERP.
• Experience using SAP or other ERP systems.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tax filing tools.
