Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations, and supporting strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and record daily accounting entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including bank reconciliations and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors and support audit requirements.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and expense controls.
• Assist management with financial analysis and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in interior, construction, or contracting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Prior experience in the UAE is mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Zoho or similar accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
