Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time, on‑site Senior Accountant to join our Dubai office. The role will lead day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and help embed AI‑powered tools into our financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger entries and maintain accurate account records.
• Prepare and present financial statements and reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and support month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Review and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to interpret financial data for budgeting and forecasting.
• Guide and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Assist in integrating AI‑driven financial tools to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems; familiarity with AI‑driven financial tools is a plus.
• Ability to ensure compliance with UAE accounting and tax practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certification (ACCA, CPA) preferred.
• Experience in startup or technology‑focused environments is advantageous.
