Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will ensure the integrity of accounting information for DCA Manufacturing. This role involves recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions, as well as preparing month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end financial statements in line with GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles, including invoice entry in SAP and payment processing.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, subsidiary accounts, trial balance and bank statements.
• Prepare and analyse balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Record daily asset, liability, revenue and expense entries, including LC, transfer receipts, short‑term and term loan accounts.
• Monitor un‑invoiced delivery notes for LC or CAD transactions and control customer balances, ageing reports and balance confirmations.
• Produce management information reports and management packs for senior leadership.

Required profile

• At least 6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal control procedures.
• Proficiency in SAP for transaction processing and reporting.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines and ensure accurate financial data.
