Senior Accountant

About the role

Eaton is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Middle East Controllership team supporting the E33 Manufacturing Plant in Dubai. The role focuses on manufacturing accounting, inventory, month‑end close, statutory reporting and internal controls while partnering with business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities for the manufacturing plant.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations, balance‑sheet items and accruals.
• Support inventory accounting, product costing, manufacturing accounting and financial reporting.
• Manage intercompany transactions, R&D cost allocations and CAPEX accounting.
• Develop and enforce SOPs, internal controls and compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley, US GAAP and IFRS.
• Provide finance escalation support for E‑Invoicing, tax, SCM and Procure‑to‑Pay issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to Sarbanes‑Oxley, US GAAP and IFRS is desirable.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and thrive in ambiguous situations.
