About the role
ADGT is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations and support financial reporting in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on reconciliations, payment settlements, revenue accounting, and month‑end closing.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Perform bank, account, and transaction reconciliations.
- Handle payment settlements and resolve discrepancies.
- Oversee revenue accounting, recognition, and reporting.
- Prepare financial reports and support month‑end closing.
- Maintain general‑ledger records and ensure accurate accounting entries.
- Manage accounts payable, supplier payments, and expenses.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal financial controls.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Experience in FinTech, payments, or financial services is an advantage.
Required skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with accounting software.
