Senior Accountant

About the role

ETST, part of the ECCF Group, is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support its industrial engineering and metal contracting operations in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves overseeing cost and project accounting, financial reporting and ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cost accounting and project accounting activities.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and maintain accounting records.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Handle letters of credit, bank guarantees and other banking instruments.
• Support financial planning and reporting using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Assist in maintaining efficient financial controls across business operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 10 years of experience in manufacturing and contracting.
• Experience in the UAE construction or engineering sector is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Proven ability to manage banking instruments such as letters of credit and bank guarantees.
• Excellent ERP system proficiency and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to maintain efficient financial controls across business operations.
