Senior Accountant – Management Accounts & Costing

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to lead management accounting and product costing for our Dubai and Sudan entities. The role will ensure accurate financial reporting, drive profitability analysis and support strategic decisions through robust dashboards and forecasts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily bookkeeping and monthly/quarterly management accounts for Dubai and Sudan entities in line with IFRS.
• Conduct variance analysis, develop financial dashboards and KPI reports for senior leadership.
• Lead product costing, bill‑of‑materials analysis and cost of goods manufactured reporting, updating standard costs.
• Perform contribution margin and profitability analysis across business units.
• Coordinate annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and monitor CAPEX/OPEX performance.
• Ensure accurate general‑ledger postings, accruals and month‑end close activities.
• Support internal and external audits with reconciliations and documentation.
• Utilise SAP/Odoo and Power BI to deliver real‑time reporting and participate in ERP enhancements.

Required profile

• CMA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in accounting, costing and management reporting within manufacturing, trading or services.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT and corporate financial regulations.
• Proven track record of cost control, variance analysis and profitability improvement.
