Senior Accountant – Multi‑Entity & UAE Tax Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a sharp, detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join our fast‑paced, growing business in Dubai. You will own the numbers, anticipate issues before they arise, and thrive in a dynamic multi‑entity environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions across multiple entities, ensuring clean balances and proper elimination entries.
• Oversee UAE corporate tax compliance, including filings, registrations, advisory support, and timely VAT return submissions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and lead the full month‑end close process.
• Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments and produce management reports and dashboards.
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable, handling supplier/client reconciliations and dispute resolution.
• Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow and coordinate with banks on payments.
• Support external auditors and tax advisors with required documentation and stay abreast of regulatory changes.
• Assist the UK entity with bookkeeping, HMRC filings and Companies House requirements (preferred).

Required profile

• 4–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi‑entity or group structure.
• Solid UAE tax experience – VAT and corporate tax mandatory.
• Proven intercompany accounting and reconciliation experience.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and general accounting principles.
• Ability to work independently, multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
• Immediate availability or short notice.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Zoho, Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle or similar.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax regulations and FTA compliance.
• Familiarity with IFRS reporting standards.
