Senior Accountant – Real Estate

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, commercially driven Senior Accountant to manage finance operations and support the commercial, sales and customer lifecycle within a UAE real estate development environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review, verify and validate Sales Purchase Agreements (SPA) before execution, ensuring financial terms align with pricing, payment plans and company policies.
• Coordinate with Sales, Legal and Finance teams on SPA amendments, cancellations and their financial implications, and ensure accurate revenue recognition per IFRS.
• Work extensively with Salesforce CRM (or similar) to monitor sales transactions, reconcile CRM data with ERP and accounting systems, and generate financial and operational reports.
• Manage customer collections, receivables, aging reports and coordinate with collection teams for overdue accounts.
• Oversee project accounting, escrow account management, VAT treatment and compliance with UAE regulations such as RERA and AML.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field.
• 8–10 years of finance experience, including 5–8 years within a UAE real estate developer.
• Strong expertise in SPA management, developer finance operations and customer collections.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce CRM.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and real‑estate financial platforms.
