Senior Accountant – Trade Finance, AR & Credit Control

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a leading interior solutions and building materials company in Dubai. The role focuses on managing the full accounts receivable cycle, credit control, collections, and trade finance activities, including handling Letters of Credit.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end Accounts Receivable process: invoicing, collections, reconciliations and customer aging reports.
• Control credit limits, follow up payments and resolve billing disputes.
• Coordinate Letter of Credit transactions, amendments and related documentation with banks and customers.
• Review commercial invoices, shipping documents and prepare customer statements, credit/debit notes and collection reports.
• Support cash‑flow forecasting, working‑capital management and month‑end closing activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• 5+ years of UAE accounting experience, preferably in trading, building‑materials, furniture or import/export sectors.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CPA or CA is preferred.
• Strong analytical, Excel and stakeholder‑management abilities.
