Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant – Real Estate

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant with extensive experience in real‑estate and property development. The role will own the full AR cycle, support VIP and high‑value customers, and ensure timely collections while maintaining strong relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, cash application and account reconciliation.
• Monitor AR aging, overdue receivables and payment plans for off‑plan and completed property units.
• Prepare and issue Statements of Account, payment reminders and reconciliation statements.
• Coordinate with Legal on defaults, cancellations and resale cases.
• Act as primary contact for VIP, HNW and high‑value customers, handling queries, escalations and disputes.
• Support month‑end closing, AR reconciliation and preparation of aging and collection reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements and credit policies.
• Identify and implement improvements to AR, collections and ERP/CRM processes.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or Collections.
• At least 2–3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Strong background in real‑estate or property development accounting.
• Proven ability to manage VIP client relationships and resolve payment disputes.
