About the role
The Senior Engineer (AI Engineer) will drive the adoption and governance of AI across Mashreq Digital's engineering practice, ensuring safe, consistent, and cost‑effective AI‑assisted software delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Write, review, and ship production code as a practicing software engineer.
- Own operational health of AI engineering, including adoption, output quality, token and license consumption, and cost per unit of delivery.
- Document, train, and run enablement initiatives to scale good AI practices rapidly.
Required profile
- Hands‑on software engineering experience, depth in either frontend or backend development.
- Ability to collaborate with Principal Engineers and the Digital Engineering Chapter Lead.
