Senior Analyst, FP&A and Business Planning & Strategy

About the role

KAVAK UAE is building the Middle East’s leading used‑car platform and needs a senior analyst to support the CFO in planning, modelling and decision‑making. You will own the financial models behind the business plan, turn data into clear recommendations and present them to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrated three‑statement models, driver‑based unit economics and rolling forecasts.
• Ensure model governance with clear inputs, version control and documented assumptions.
• Evaluate feasibility and investment cases for new verticals and markets, including market sizing and IRR analysis.
• Analyse performance versus plan, identify variance drivers and provide quantified recommendations.
• Create finance reports and dashboards, extracting data directly from source systems using SQL.
• Prepare board, GM and Group CFO materials and present insights to senior stakeholders.
• Lead process improvement and workflow automation, coordinating with Sales, Operations, Legal and external partners.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in FP&A, business planning, strategy, consulting or corporate finance.
• Strong grounding in P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and working‑capital economics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering or a quantitative field.
• Self‑driven, organised and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling (dynamic formulas, scenario switches, error checks).
• Proficiency with Google Sheets.
• SQL for data extraction (Postgres or BigQuery a plus).
• BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
• Strong presentation skills in PowerPoint or Google Slides.
• Python or other data‑analysis tools (nice to have).
