Senior Analyst – Insurance Credit

About the role

The Financial Services practice at S&P Global seeks a Senior Analyst to deliver forward‑looking credit insights on insurers and reinsurers across Central Asia and the Middle East. You will lead end‑to‑end credit analysis, coach junior staff, and embed AI‑driven automation into analytical workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and coach Research Assistants and Rating Analysts in credit analysis, data discipline, and analytical tooling.
• Lead end‑to‑end credit analysis and surveillance for assigned insurance credits, synthesising portfolio performance, market signals and peer context.
• Translate complex data and analysis into clear, client‑ready narratives and advise market participants.
• Ensure methodology adherence, confidentiality, data governance and responsible AI use, contributing to automation workflow design.

Required profile

• Demonstrable expertise in insurance industry and company analysis, especially in the U.K., Middle East and Central Asia.
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts and ability to analyse insurance financial statements.
• High standards for analytical quality, traceability and governance with sound judgment on AI use.
• Willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice.
