Senior Analyst Regulatory Reporting - Banking

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Analyst in Regulatory Reporting to join our client’s banking team in Dubai. The role supports the Head of Finance and the Regulatory Reporting Manager in designing, implementing and maintaining reporting processes that meet Central Bank of UAE (CBUAE) and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial and non‑financial regulatory returns for CBUAE on various cycles (fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, etc.).
• Ensure completeness, accuracy and timely delivery of all CBUAE submissions.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to implement regulatory updates, system changes and automation for Banking Return Forms.
• Calculate and review Basel III capital adequacy, risk‑weighted assets and related schedules.
• Respond to CBUAE enquiries and internal audit reviews, providing accurate data and documentation.
• Submit statistical returns to Emirates ministries, maintaining compliance with timelines.
• Support design and maintenance of finance policies, procedures and controls for accurate regulatory reporting.
• Track regulatory matters, communicate announcements and manage change.
• Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to automate reporting inputs and ensure correct accounting treatment.
• Provide data, reconciliations and documentation for internal and external audit requests.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification or relevant master’s degree with strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Minimum six years of finance or accounting experience, preferably within the banking sector.
• In‑depth knowledge of CBUAE regulatory reporting requirements and related guidance.
• Solid understanding of finance, commercial and accounting concepts, processes and controls.
• Proven experience in regulatory change management, process improvement and automation initiatives.
