Senior Android Developer

About the role

Analog is looking for a highly motivated Senior Android Developer to join its growing team. You will help build advanced mobile experiences that power the company’s physical‑intelligence platform, turning raw data into actionable foresight across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Android applications for a range of devices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and deliver new features.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness; identify and fix bugs and performance issues.
• Optimize apps for speed and scalability.
• Research, evaluate, and integrate new technologies to improve development efficiency.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
• Perform code reviews and help raise coding standards across the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven track record as an Android developer with a portfolio of apps published on Google Play.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio and the Android platform.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third‑party libraries.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and Android design guidelines.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug Android applications.
• Experience with Git version control and Agile development practices.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Espresso and JUnit.
