Senior Architect (Dubai)

About the role

AECOM is seeking a visionary Senior Architect to join its dynamic design team in Dubai. You will lead the creation of innovative architectural solutions from concept through construction, shaping Dubai’s evolving skyline.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive design concepts and master plans for residential, commercial, mixed‑use and institutional projects using BIM platforms.
• Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies and ensure compliance with UAE and Dubai building codes.
• Produce technical drawings, specifications and construction documents for contractors and consultants.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage design development and oversee construction quality.
• Integrate sustainable design practices aligned with green building standards such as LEED and Estidama.

Required profile

• Professional architecture license or registration (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred) with 3‑5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven project management experience and ability to handle multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with BIM platforms (Revit, ArchiCAD).
• Expertise in CAD and 3D visualization tools (SketchUp, Rhino).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for presentations.
• Knowledge of UAE building codes, zoning regulations and sustainable design standards (LEED, Estidama).
