Senior Architect - High-End Residential, Commercial & Mixed-Use Projects

About the role

A highly experienced Senior Architect is sought to lead, manage and oversee architectural design for high-end residential, commercial, hospitality and mixed-use projects in Dubai. The role covers design from concept through detailed design, construction and handover, with responsibility for design reviews, technical coordination, consultant management and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural design from concept to completion and review concepts, layouts, elevations, sections and façades
• Conduct design reviews at concept, schematic, detailed design and construction documentation stages, including design review reports
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape and interior design consultants and resolve technical issues before construction
• Manage external consultants, contractors and stakeholders, and conduct design coordination meetings
• Visit sites regularly, review shop drawings, material samples and mock-ups, and monitor approved design changes
• Support value engineering, procurement and material specification reviews
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, accessibility and UAE building codes, and sustainability standards
• Manage multiple projects, prepare design progress reports and stay current on architectural innovations

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
• 12-15 years of experience in architectural design and design management, preferably in luxury residential, commercial, hospitality or mixed-use developments
• Experience managing external consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with luxury real estate developers, consultancies or design-and-build organisations preferred
• Professional registration or relevant architectural certification is an advantage

Required skills

• AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp; Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, construction methods and technical drawings
• Good understanding of UAE building regulations, Dubai Municipality and Civil Defence requirements
