Senior Architect

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Architect to join SDV Consulting Engineers in Abu Dhabi. This full‑time, office‑based position will lead architectural design from concept through detailed design for industrial and specialty facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural design from concept to detailed design stages.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary consultants and project stakeholders.
• Manage project deliverables, schedules and design quality.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, building codes and authority requirements.
• Lead BIM/Revit design development and coordination.
• Review and mentor junior architects and technical staff.
• Support client presentations, authority submissions and technical reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 8–12 years of professional architectural experience.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building regulations and authority approval processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership and coordination skills.
• Experience working in Abu Dhabi and on steel/industrial projects is mandatory.
• Candidate must currently reside in the UAE.
