Senior Architect

About the role

The Senior Architect will lead architectural design delivery on assigned projects from concept through completion, ensuring design quality, regulatory compliance and full client satisfaction. Reporting to the Head of Building Practice or Design Manager, the role involves coordinating architects, BIM resources and multidisciplinary contributors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural design from concept through detailed design, authority approvals, tender support and construction.
• Ensure compliance with international codes, IATA/ICAO standards and UAE authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, Estidama).
• Coordinate BIM deliverables, technical documentation and multidisciplinary teams, managing design risks and decision‑making.
• Conduct design reviews, coordination workshops and high‑level presentations for clients, operators and statutory authorities.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of post‑graduate architectural experience, with proven leadership on large, complex projects; aviation sector experience is a plus.
• Bachelor or Master of Architecture and eligibility for UAE professional registration.
• Knowledge of UAE building codes, Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi UPC, GCAA, IATA ADRM and ICAO Annexes.
• International accreditation (RIBA, AIA) and sustainability certification (LEED, Estidama) preferred.
