Senior Associate – Audit & Assurance

About the role

BDO UAE is seeking a Senior Associate to lead external audit engagements for a diverse client base. You will apply BDO’s audit methodology, ensure high‑quality documentation, and support clients in preparing financial statements in line with IFRS.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and perform external audits according to BDO’s methodology.
• Prepare or review client financial statements under International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Manage audit projects, including planning, client liaison, and timely delivery of deliverables.
• Identify, discuss, and resolve audit and accounting issues with the engagement team and clients.
• Prepare reports, communicate findings, and present recommendations to audit committees or boards.
• Monitor client needs and propose additional services that add value.
• Maintain professional development on local regulations, IFRS, and audit methodology.

Required profile

• CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years post‑qualification audit experience in a professional services firm or large multinational.
• Degree in Business, Accounting or a related field.
• Proven record of managing audit engagements.
• Fluent English (reading, speaking, writing).
