Senior Associate – Collections

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate – Collections to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi. The role manages outstanding receivables, supports collection activities and works closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely payment recovery while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts to identify due and overdue payments and follow up through calls, emails and meetings.
• Prepare and issue payment reminders, statements of account and default notices in line with approved procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities, customer communications and follow‑up actions.
• Reconcile customer accounts, resolve payment discrepancies and coordinate with Sales, Finance, Customer Service and Legal on delayed payments.
• Support discussions on payment plans and settlement arrangements, escalating unresolved overdue accounts to the Collections Manager.
• Prepare regular collection, ageing and outstanding balance reports and ensure activities comply with company policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, credit control or debt recovery, preferably within real estate, property development or construction.
• Strong understanding of collection processes, receivables management and payment recovery practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience managing customer accounts, payment follow‑ups and account reconciliations.
