Senior Associate - Electrical

About the role

A Senior Associate in electrical engineering is sought in Dubai, responsible for managing a portfolio of projects as Project Manager and reporting to an Associate Director or Director. On complex projects, the role may act as the primary client contact under senior supervision. The position also covers business development, team leadership and QHSE compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of projects, covering project delivery, customer satisfaction, job profitability, cash flow and project quality
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver client solutions and manage project timelines, deliverables and resources
• Present to clients, prepare project proposals, support fee negotiations and identify additional services
• Liaise with clients, design teams, contractors and authorities, and ensure QA, HSE and regulatory requirements are met
• Support leadership in managing teams and projects, guide and mentor junior engineers, and undertake performance reviews
• Review and validate team deliverables, drawings, calculations and models, and ensure alignment with design standards
• Follow 9E QHSE policies, coordinate QHSE procedures, comply with local regulations and report QHSE incidents immediately

Required profile

• Minimum of 13 years' experience in the relevant field
• Graduate Engineer qualification in Electrical Engineering; Chartered Engineering is an added advantage
• Proven record as a Project Engineer on several projects
• Experience on Middle East projects highly preferred
• Strong technical capability, leadership and commercial awareness
