Senior Associate – External Audit – Dubai

About the role

PwC Middle East is seeking a Senior Associate for its External Audit team in Dubai. You will join a group of problem‑solvers delivering high‑quality audits for non‑financial services clients, helping them meet regulatory requirements and enhance transparency.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client financial statements to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Examine accounting records, inventory, plant and equipment, and other supporting documentation.
• Test internal controls and processes of client organisations.
• Communicate findings and progress to Managers and Partners, highlighting risks, issues, and budget variances.
• Take ownership of external audit file completion and engagement economics.
• Review work of associate‑level staff, providing on‑the‑job training, coaching and constructive feedback.

• Ability to build trust and credibility with clients.
• Proactive in researching client industry information before engagements.
• Effective communication skills for written and oral inquiries.

Required skills

• Knowledge of financial statement analysis.
