Senior Associate Landscape Architect

About the role

Icon is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Landscape Architect to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver high‑quality landscape, public realm and destination projects across the UAE and the wider region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple landscape architecture projects from concept through construction support, ensuring design excellence and technical quality.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, resources, risks and deliverables across concurrent projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, authorities, stakeholders and industry partners.
• Mentor Associates, Landscape Architects, Graduates and BIM professionals.
• Promote digital delivery using BIM, AI‑enabled tools and platforms such as Vantagepoint.

Required profile

• 12+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture, including public realm, mixed‑use, hospitality, residential, infrastructure and master‑planning projects.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects, manage multidisciplinary teams and maintain client satisfaction.
• Strong commercial awareness, project profitability and resource planning skills.
• Knowledge of UAE and GCC planning processes, authority requirements and delivery frameworks.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit and MicroStation.
• Experience with Rhino (Grasshopper), SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape and D5 Render.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Experience in BIM‑enabled project environments and digital design workflows.
• Familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint, ArcGIS, QGIS, Land F/X and AI‑enabled design tools.
