Senior Associate – MENA Equities Research

About the role

We are partnering with a leading Dubai‑based conglomerate to hire a Senior Associate for their family office. The professional will support investment decision‑making across GCC and broader MENA public equity markets, working directly with the portfolio manager and CIO.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research and analysis on listed companies across GCC and MENA markets.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models, forecasts, valuation analyses and investment recommendations.
• Monitor market trends, earnings releases, sector developments and macro‑economic factors.
• Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to senior investment stakeholders.
• Engage with company management, industry experts and market participants to validate investment theses.
• Identify new investment opportunities across sectors such as financial services, real estate, industrials, consumer, energy, utilities, telecommunications and transportation.
• Collaborate with portfolio management teams to assess portfolio positioning, risk exposures and performance drivers.
• Track regulatory, economic and geopolitical developments and evaluate their impact on investment opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, asset management or portfolio management, with strong coverage of UAE, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, GCC or wider MENA equity markets.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling and valuation methodologies (DCF, relative valuation, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, presentation and report‑writing abilities.
• Fluent Arabic language skills.
• Ability to work from anywhere in the GCC.
