Senior Associate – Real Estate & Hospitality Law

About the role

Blue Bahar Engineering is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Dubai team, focusing on complex real estate and hospitality transactions across the UAE and the region. The role involves advising national and international clients on acquisition, development, finance, management and branding of hotel properties and serviced apartments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on high‑profile real estate investment, development and finance transactions.
• Draft clear, structurally consistent legal documents and contracts.
• Manage and mentor junior associates, paralegals and secretarial staff.
• Prioritise and drive matters forward, ensuring timely progression of cases.
• Identify knowledge‑sharing opportunities and contribute articles or publications.
• Maintain a proactive, commercial approach to both contentious and non‑contentious matters.
• Develop and nurture client relationships, supporting business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong academic background with training from a recognised international law firm.
• Minimum 6 years of real‑estate legal experience at a reputable firm; hospitality experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling both contentious and non‑contentious matters.
• Demonstrated business development interest and capacity to build long‑term client relationships.
• Flexible, enthusiastic and driven team player with a proactive commercial mindset.
