Senior Associate Spend Review

About the role

Act as the day‑to‑day lead for assigned Spend Reviews within the Department of Finance in Abu Dhabi. You will own the technical analysis, coordinate stakeholders across entities, and drive the delivery from data collection through to final recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Spend Reviews, coordinating with entities, internal teams and advisors.
• Own the end‑to‑end delivery of each review, ensuring progress against scope, milestones and timelines.
• Lead planning, sequencing and coordination of analytical workstreams and data requests.
• Conduct detailed financial, operational and performance analysis, develop financial models and perform scenario testing.
• Prepare high‑quality presentations, exhibits and analytical outputs for senior audiences and draft core sections of Spend Review reports.
• Maintain trackers for data requests, analysis status and decisions, and ensure analytical outputs are accurate and decision‑ready.
• Proactively identify delivery risks, dependencies and bottlenecks, escalating with solutions as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Spend Review methodologies, templates and delivery tools.

Required profile

• 3 to 6 years of experience in finance, accounting or related analytical roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; professional certifications such as CMA or CFA are preferred.
