Senior Audit Associate – Financial Services

About the role

We are building the next generation audit and accounting firm and are seeking a skilled Senior Audit Associate to lead complex financial services engagements. You will work with senior executives and cross‑border teams to deliver high‑quality audit insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute group audits for clients with complex fund structures, SPVs, subsidiaries and joint arrangements.
• Evaluate and test internal controls to ensure reliable financial reporting.
• Collaborate with cross‑border teams and diverse stakeholders to align audit work with international standards.
• Provide actionable audit insights and recommendations to clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on audit experience in investment funds, asset management or financial services institutions.
• Strong background in group audits and understanding of ICFR in a financial services environment.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CA (or equivalent).
• Experience in the UAE or international markets is highly preferred.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical and confident handling complex engagements.

Required skills

• Hands‑on audit experience with investment funds and asset‑management entities.
• Expertise in group audit structures, including SPVs and joint arrangements.
• Solid understanding of Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS Accounting Standards and UAE regulatory requirements.
