Senior Audit Associate – TMT (Technology, Media & Telecom)

About the role

The Audit – Senior Associate – TMT position is based in Dubai and will commence on 1 October 2024. The role involves leading audit engagements for clients in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications sector and reporting to senior managers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and finalise TMT audit assignments for review by managers or partners.
• Produce audit workpapers, address TMT‑specific consulting issues and propose solutions.
• Manage client deliverables, attend meetings and maintain clear communication.
• Conduct strategic analysis and identify business and audit risks within the TMT industry.
• Assess the effectiveness of client processes and controls and perform higher‑risk, non‑routine audit procedures.
• Supervise junior team members and ensure adherence to KPMG audit methodology and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or equivalent; ACCA (minimum 9 papers) or CPA/ICAEW professional qualifications.
• At least 2 years of post‑graduate experience, preferably in TMT audits.
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts and regulatory requirements specific to the TMT sector.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written) with solid computer literacy.
