Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

Sokin is expanding its global payments platform and is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to become the first point of contact for prospective corporate clients in the mid‑market and enterprise segments. You will source, qualify and engage high‑value opportunities, building a robust pipeline that supports long‑term relationships and prepares you for future sales leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through LinkedIn, CRM intelligence, partner referrals and targeted outbound prospecting.
• Qualify prospects by assessing treasury needs, FX exposure and cross‑border payment complexities.
• Lead initial engagements with senior stakeholders using email, phone, LinkedIn and strategic social outreach.
• Arrange discovery calls and commercial meetings, ensuring opportunities are well‑qualified for pipeline progression.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Compliance, Product and Client Onboarding teams to ensure seamless conversion and a strong prospect experience.
• Maintain accurate documentation of activity, pipeline status and insights within the CRM.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development targeting mid‑market and enterprise customers.
• Strong understanding of global payments, foreign exchange and treasury management concepts.
• Excellent communication skills with senior decision‑makers.
• Self‑motivated, ambitious and able to work independently in a fast‑growing environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for pipeline management.
