Senior Cardiovascular Technologist – Electrophysiology

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is recruiting a Senior Cardiovascular Technologist specialising in cardiac electrophysiology in Dubai, UAE. The role suits an experienced cardiovascular technology professional who supports specialist cardiac teams in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders. You will provide technical support during electrophysiology studies and catheter ablation procedures, work with cardiac rhythm management devices and help keep procedure records and equipment ready.

Key responsibilities

• Support electrophysiologists during diagnostic EP studies and cardiac ablation procedures.
• Set up, operate and troubleshoot electrophysiology recording, mapping and monitoring systems.
• Monitor intracardiac signals and share relevant procedural data with the clinical team.
• Assist with pacemaker and ICD implantation, testing and follow-up.
• Prepare patients, equipment and procedure rooms before each case.
• Complete accurate clinical and procedural documentation.
• Follow patient safety, infection control and radiation protection standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement and support colleagues' technical development when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a cardiovascular technology programme.
• Practical experience in a cardiac electrophysiology service or EP laboratory.
• Valid DHA licence as a Cardiovascular Technologist, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Clear communication, sound technical judgement and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary cardiac team.
