Senior Certified Public Accountant

About the role

As a Senior Certified Public Accountant at Uvation, you will ensure financial integrity, compliance and transparency across multiple entities, supporting rapid growth and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS or other applicable standards.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Support and coordinate internal and external audits, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors.
• Manage tax compliance activities for federal, state and local filings and assist with related documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow monitoring and identify financial risks and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Develop, implement and monitor internal controls and accounting policies.
• Collaborate with FP&A, operations, legal and leadership to provide financial insight for business initiatives.
• Handle multi‑entity and multi‑currency transactions and mentor junior accounting staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Emirati/UAE National candidate preferred.
• CPA certification highly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 8 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• In‑depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems such as MS Dynamics and NetSuite.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience with budgeting, reporting, forecasting and audit support tools.
• Comfort with international and multi‑currency accounting processes.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling abilities.
