Senior Civil Engineer - Real Estate Projects

About the role

Dautom, an IT consulting partner, is recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer on an onsite basis in Dubai for a client described as a globally recognized real estate company. The engineer plans, designs and oversees construction and infrastructure projects and facilities management, working with architects, contractors and other stakeholders. The notice period is immediate to 30 days.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans covering site conditions, environmental impact and regulatory requirements.
• Create detailed designs, specifications and drawings for site development, foundations and structural elements using CAD software.
• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates and material requirements.
• Ensure projects comply with local regulations and obtain the necessary permits and approvals.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality and compliance with design specifications.
• Oversee the bidding process and manage contracts with contractors and suppliers to keep projects on time and within budget.
• Implement quality control procedures and identify construction risks and mitigation strategies.
• Communicate with clients, provide project updates and address their concerns.
• Maintain accurate records, including as-built drawings and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
• Proven experience in civil engineering, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
• Preferred: strong knowledge of construction codes, regulations and best practices.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
