About the role
The Senior Engineer (Civil/Mechanical) will be responsible for leading health, safety and quality initiatives on construction sites in Dubai. Reporting to senior management, the role combines HSE policy implementation with QA/QC oversight to ensure compliance with local regulations and project standards.
Key responsibilities
- Implement HSE policies and procedures on site in line with local legislation and project HSE plans.
- Coordinate daily with area superintendents and site engineers to understand upcoming field activities and provide appropriate site safety coverage.
- Prepare, manage and present safety and quality reports to management, offering analysis and recommended corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance of subcontractors with HSE and QA/QC requirements and conduct site inspections.
Required profile
- Hold a university degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Possess a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a QA/QC engineering role within the civil or mechanical construction sector.
