Senior Cloud Operations Engineer – Azure

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Cloud Operations Engineer to design, implement, and operate enterprise‑grade Azure platforms. The role combines hands‑on cloud delivery with day‑to‑day operational ownership, working closely with architects, security, and application teams to ensure reliable, secure services.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, manage and optimise Azure infrastructure across production and non‑production environments.
• Provide Level 3 operational support, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and maintain platform reliability.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and ARM templates, and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting to guarantee availability and performance.
• Apply Azure security, governance and identity best practices (Entra ID, RBAC, Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud).
• Manage backup, disaster recovery and business continuity for critical workloads.
• Support Azure platform services including AI, data and integration offerings.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to onboard new workloads and continuously improve the Azure environment.

Required profile

• 7+ years of infrastructure and cloud operations experience, primarily on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong hands‑on experience managing Azure networking, platform services and enterprise environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Azure certifications (Administrator or Security Engineer) are a plus.
