Senior Commercial Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to lead post‑contract commercial activities across multiple residential villa and mid‑rise projects in the UAE. The role combines strategic oversight, client interaction and hands‑on management of commercial processes from contract award to final account settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the commercial function for several concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with company procedures and governance.
• Mentor Quantity Surveyors, Commercial Managers and other commercial staff.
• Administer valuation, payment applications, interim and final accounts, and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks, prepare monthly cost reports and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Lead variation, claim and change‑event assessments, negotiate settlements and ensure compliance with FIDIC Red Book provisions.
• Provide contractual advice, manage notices, entitlement reviews and support dispute avoidance and resolution.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in commercial management of construction projects, preferably residential or mid‑rise developments.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC Red Book contracts and post‑contract administration.
• Proven ability to lead teams, influence clients and deliver accurate financial reporting.
