Senior Compliance Specialist

About the role

The Senior Specialist, Compliance will design, implement and maintain EDGE's Compliance Management System (CMS). The role ensures that all regulatory, legal, contractual and industry requirements are integrated into company policies and operations across local and international business units.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve the CMS, including policies, procedures, standards and a centralized compliance register.
• Identify, interpret and monitor applicable regulations from local, regional and international authorities and ensure timely filings, renewals and certifications.
• Coordinate compliance activities for client contracts, international standards (ISO 37301, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and ESG frameworks.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments, establish controls, monitor findings and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare for and manage regulatory inspections, client audits and certification assessments, tracking findings to closure.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Risk Management, Engineering, Public Policy or related field.
• 8‑12 years of experience in compliance, governance or regulatory affairs, with at least 5 years in a senior compliance role.
• Proven experience developing and operating a Compliance Management System and interpreting complex regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with government authorities, certification bodies and external auditors.
