Senior Construction Manager – Offshore Water Injection (Brownfield)

About the role

KBR is looking for a Senior Construction Manager to lead brownfield offshore construction for a Water Injection Project in the UAE. The role starts in Abu Dhabi, moves to the fabrication yard and later to the offshore site, overseeing execution and commissioning while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all offshore brownfield construction activities from mobilization through mechanical completion.
• Develop and implement construction execution plans, resource strategies and work packs.
• Manage subcontractors, specialist contractors and multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Supervise installation of water injection systems, piping, equipment, structural and electrical modifications.
• Plan and execute shutdowns, tie‑ins and turnaround activities within limited windows.
• Coordinate SIMOPS with operations, maintenance and commissioning teams to mitigate interface risks.
• Champion HSE culture, ensure Permit‑to‑Work compliance and support zero‑LTI targets.
• Monitor quality, conduct inspections, manage NCRs and support mechanical completion and handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or related engineering (Master’s advantageous).
• 25+ years of oil & gas experience with at least 10 years in senior construction management.
• Extensive offshore brownfield EPC experience, including shutdown and tie‑in management.
• Proven track record on water injection, production or utility systems; ADNOC offshore experience preferred.
• PMP or similar project management certification preferred; Professional Engineer registration desirable.
