Senior Consultant Assistant Manager - Risk Management

About the role

The Senior Consultant Assistant Manager will support the Functional Quality and Performance Lead Partner and Functional Risk Management Partner (and their delegates) in day‑to‑day advisory quality and risk management initiatives. The role drives a culture of quality, compliance, ethics and integrity while leading risk management for large transformation projects within the Advisory service line.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the F‑QPLP/F‑RMP and their delegates in executing quality and risk management initiatives across Advisory.
• Lead risk management processes for large transformation projects that exceed defined thresholds, ensuring compliance with global and local policies.
• Promote a culture of quality, compliance, ethics and integrity throughout the organization.
• Maintain deep understanding of quality and risk management issues, including local regulatory requirements.
• Develop, update and ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Identify, evaluate and mitigate potential risks associated with large projects, providing proactive solutions.
• Escalate breaches of risk policies and recommend corrective actions in collaboration with senior partners.
• Prepare ad‑hoc risk reports and presentations for senior management.
• Coordinate departmental meetings and presentations, and address system issues with global teams.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline risk management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFE, ACAMS) is an advantage.
• Minimum 6‑7 years of experience at a Big 4 firm or comparable professional services, multinational organization or financial institution in risk management, internal audit or compliance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of global and local quality and risk management policies and procedures.
• Ability to deliver solution‑focused advice and practical business solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Technical IT skills to operate risk management platforms and tools.
